Jack has been waving since the Saturday of Nonny's visit (she taught him). When we went for Jack's 9 month check up on the Friday before, one of the milestones the doctor asked about was waving bye bye. We told her he couldn't do it yet. (which kind of put Nonny on a mission).
He still can't do it. Because he doesn't wave "bye-bye". He waves "hi-hi". He loves to wave at you to get your attention. He loves to wave to make you laugh. He waved at the people on T.V. that were waving on the Today show. But when it comes to waving bye-bye, he just looks at you and wonders what he heck you are doing. I think he sees waving as something fun and happy and he isn't all that excited when you leave him.
